24-hour clock. An earlier end means next day; equal times mean zero hours. Shifts of 24 hours or more are unsupported. The entire overnight shift belongs to its starting weekday. Leave both time fields blank for unused days.

Use contracted hours, separate from actual work. For employment under 4 weeks, average that period. Assumes a comparable full-time worker works 5 days/40 hours and the entered rate equals ordinary hourly pay. With at least 15 average hours and the conditions above: hours ÷ 40 × 8 × rate (up to 8 paid hours).

A few helpful answers
How are overnight shifts and breaks counted?
If end is earlier than start, it is treated as the next day, with break minutes deducted. Equal times mean zero hours. The entire shift belongs to its starting weekday. Hours over 40 per week are shown separately.
Are holiday pay and estimated pay final amounts?
These are references. The model assumes a comparable 5-day/40-hour worker. You confirm at least 15 contracted hours averaged over 4 weeks, full attendance and 7 days of employment. Paid holiday hours are contracted hours ÷ 5, up to 8. Premiums and deductions are excluded.
